That's Amore!

I'm back into the mini-swing of things. :) After making 20 miniature king cakes for a recent mini exchange, I realized I forgot to take a picture of them! Oh well, I guess I'll have to make more!

Here is the newest adventure. Making 1/24 scale miniature food. Ravioli time! These were so much fun. Even the kids could tell what they were (after using the magnifying glass LOL)! Enjoy
I plan to work on their coloring a bit, as they do appear too translucent for the italian style ravioli that I was working towards. But my lovely friends over at CDHM.org tell me that they look perfect for the asian style rice ravioli. :) Kind souls they are!
Asta la pasta!

As I posted several months ago, I was away with very busy wedding plans.

We did it! It was the best day of the rest of my life with my husband and family. We really enjoyed the day. It was perfect and beautiful in every way possible.

This is our favorite picture of the day. It has all the spirit of the day and the wedding captured in a photo.

Now that the wedding is over it is back to the work table for miniatures. I have some great ideas for the seasons ahead and look forward to not only making them but also getting pictures posted and items listed on Etsy. :)

Here's the the future. Who could ask for anything more?

Blessings to all,

Busy Bizzy Buzzy

So it's been a little while, but I have been planning my wedding. September 5th is the big day! It's coming up very soon. So very excited. But so very much to do. When things have calmed down I will be back to minis again. Sooo many projects on hold, just no time for them now.

Take care!

I'm sure by the next time I post I'll be married.

I also made some cute white and purple cupcakes. I will also be listing those on etsy.

And the weeks went by...

And I forgot about blogging! I should be updating more as the next week goes through, as I hope to be finishing up a few projects that are sitting unbaked on my desk. :) That and the a/c in the house died. So many of the coming evenings are scheduled for the appointments for estimates.

Keep checking back through the next couple weeks. I am working on a darling cookie crumb cake.

mini snowflake cookies 2-1

I loved the way these mini snowflake cookies turned out. I wish the camera would focus better on them. Hopefully, Santa will bring me a new camera!

Dear Santa,

I've been a good girl this year.....

Cherry Blossom Chocolate Cake

So i've been having some fun in the past week. I've really been on a roll.

I made my first miniature sale! Woohoo! I listed my halloween cake on Etsy and it sold the next day. :) I was so pleased!

I know that all my listings won't go nearly that fast but it was certainly an ego booster. Considering I've just started making mini's in the past couple months, that was a nice warm coozy feeling. I have a hunch I must be headed in the right direction.

Even the honey was just as elated for me about the sale. :) I think he's just excited that I may actually stick with a craft and finish projects!!
